The RED Movie Awards (Reims Excellence Director) is an International Season competition with a public Screening Event in Reims every years, celebrating films and filmmakers from all around the world.
OUR MISSION is to give back what too many film festivals out there have forgotten to continuously provide to the filmmakers: attention and respect. We want to find, cultivate and celebrate the very best in international and home grown talent across all departments of independent film.
The annual ceremony will take place in Reims, capital of champagne and the French “art de vivre”. The best films will be shown at a cinema with a “Belle Epoque” decoration. For the awards ceremony, bring your best suit and your best dress to walk through our RED carpet and photo-call, many journalists will be present to cover the event.
Our jury, represented by professionals from the film industry, will elect the Best Of the Year during the ceremony, and the winners will be able to take home the prestigious RED Award.

THE RED AWARD
The RED AWARD is more than a trophy, it is a masterpiece of art representing success and excellence for filmmakers. It is designed by the RED TEAM and manufactured by the Society Awards, an American company best known for its YouTube awards and manufacturing of high-profile entertainment industry awards, including the Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award.
Every months, our Jury will award the best films through private screenings. Every submitter can enter multiple categories to increase their probability to win an award. Every Official Selection, Semi-Finalist, Finalist and Winner will receive our Official Laurels. Award Winners will also receive our Official Certificate in HQ digital format, may order their Trophy and will be listed on our website. Best of the Month, are automatically qualified to compete at the annual event.
For our annual event, some of the Best Short films of every month will be chosen by the Jury to be screened during our public Screening Event at Reims, in France and will be able to compete to get a RED AWARD among the BEST OF THE YEAR.
